We are pleased to announce the release of the Draft "General Framework for Secured IoT Systems".
Internet of Things (IoT) systems should be designed, developed and operated by the idea of “Security by Design”, because it is foreseeable that each individual system would be mutually connected in the future. This framework is focused on clarifying fundamental and essential security requirements for secured IoT systems.
The NISC invites the public to submit written comments on the draft. For guidance on submitting comments, please see the following.

2.Acceptance period:

The public comment period closes on Friday, June 24, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time (GMT+9:00).

3.Language

We only accept comments written in English or Japanese.

4.Submissions methods:

Please send your comments by e-mail, fax, or postal mail. When sending comments by e-mail, please use plain text format. If you send comments by postal mail, it must be reached to the NISC no later than the last day of the comment period (June 24).

5.Instructions for writing comments:

· Please write your opinion(s) with supporting reason(s). Please also clearly mention which part of the document you are commenting on.
· Please provide your name, name of employer and job title (if not applicable, occupation), and contact information (e.g. e-mail address).
· When your comments exceed 700 words, please separately summarize the point of opinions.
· Your comments may be released (in whole or in part) to the public.
